British Rowing Chair, Mark Davies, has today written to Baroness Vere, leader of the Government’s task force on Hammersmith Bridge and Councillor Stephen Cowan, Leader of Hammersmith & Fulham Council on behalf of the rowing community to share our concerns about the significant impact of the closure of Hammersmith Bridge on the rowing community across the country.

As well as setting out British Rowing’s concerns, the letters ask both parties to commit in writing to ensuring that any solutions both in the short term and long term provide a solution for safe passage under the river.
