St George’s College Boat Club – Rowing Coach

St George’s College Boat Club is seeking a Rowing Coach to support the development of Rowing to students of all ages and abilities at St George’s College. The successful candidate will have rowed or coached to a high level, and be able to coach both water and land based sessions.

The St George’s College Boat Club is seeking a Rowing Coach to join our coaching team and embrace all aspects of St George’s life. The College has a boathouse based 15 minutes from the school by road, based on a 4km stretch of the River Thames.

The College provides opportunities for rowing for all College students, from Games sessions through to an international standard, in both sculling and sweep disciplines.

As part of the Rowing team, your role will include assisting the Head of Rowing with the coaching of students rowing at all age groups and levels. This may include land training as well as water based sessions.

The ideal candidate will have experience of rowing or coaching to a high standard, be an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with the ability to coach, support and develop students of all abilities.

Salary: Dependent on experience, plus a competitive benefits package

Type: Part-time, term time only (plus potential for holiday camps) - exact hours to be agreed with the Head of Rowing. Hours will include Saturday working.
